The CBC visited Tlamacazapa and Walking Together (Caminamos Juntos) at the beginning of April. The result was a nearly 15-minute feature in "The National" on April 13, 2006 (yesterday). To see the full clip, go to the website of The National and click on "Watch the National Online". This will take you to a one-hour segment, which you can fast-forward to the 37-minute mark to get to the Tlamacazapa/WT feature. This link will be active until April 15th. We'll try to get a copy of the news clip to post permanently!| permalink | related link

Mexico City: we had a 3m x 3m stand in the Water Fair portion of the WWF; it was elegant, creative; informative about the Tlama water situation and about toxic synergy between poverty and exposure to contaminants; and attracted attention – see photo. Manning the booth for 7 days (SS for 7 days; SB for initial 4 days; CW for last 3 days; 3 weavers for 3 days; 1 weaver for initial 4 days) was exhausting to say the least, and the preparation of the stand beforehand was intensive.
